Mechanics Soap is a refreshing soap scented with a blend of thyme, copaiba balsam, key lime and litsea cubeba essential oils with added fine ground pumice. This essential oil blend results in a scent profile with a fresh, invigorating citrus blend with a warm, earthy and herbaceous depth.
Citrus essential oils like key lime & litsea cubeba are excellent natural deodorizers and have astringent properties, helping to balance oily skin and refresh the hands.
Thyme essential oil is known for its potent antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, which are highly desirable in a soap designed for dirty hands.
Copaiba balsam essential oil is known for its soothing properties, which can help calm skin irritation that might result from heavy scrubbing.
This soap includes olive oil for a creamy lather, coconut oil which adds cleansing properties and larger bubbles in the lather, shea butter feels luxurious and moisturizing on the skin, castor oil which draws moisture to the skin and creates amazing lather.
Distilled water was also used to aid in the saponification process and all oils in my soaps are saponified.
